About Me

I am a contemporary artist, currently in my final year studying for my Fine Art and Contemporary Culture BA(Hons) degree at Leamington Spa College.

My practice is currently exploring the 'invisibility of women'. No blame or aggression is attached to this sentiment, I am only relating a fact through my art.

My work is visualising a perceived idea of the female form, anonymising it, slowly withdrawing the body, leaving only an illusion. I am using the motif of the bathing costume and hat to suggest an idealised concept of the female form. Referencing the Miss World beauty pageant.
